My practice focuses on mapping relationships between data. I’m seeking the analog in data visualization, maintaining traces of hand even when utilizing (high/low) technology.  I used drawing, painting, sound, video, and installation to create the body of work Inventory of Forms.  A continuing multi-year project will add to the work, ending with a full schematic exhibition of a machine-based cosmology.   I find having my studio in a public art center (McGuffey Art Center in Charlottesville, Virginia) to be immensely enriching to my work, giving me daily opportunities to interact with viewers about my practice.
